All Single family rental requirements apply to short-term rentals, including the stipulations below.
- a landline is required
- owner's contact information must be provided to neighboring properties (any immediately adjoining properties, ex. next to and across from the primary short-term rental, including the alley.)
- owner or property manager's contact information must be posted within 5 feet of front door
- Code Compliance Rental Inspection is required prior to issuing license (including certified rentals and renewals)
- prohibited conduct as stated in City of Garland Ordinance, Article VI Short-term Rentals
